GETTING TO PAROS
There are three different options to reach the beautiful island of Paros. There are no direct flights, hence why it has remained paradise!
Option 1: Flight from London to Athens, then an internal flight from Athens to Paros.
Option 2: Flight from London to Athens, then a boat from Athens to Paros.
Option 3: Flight from London to Mykonos, then a boat from Mykonos to Paros.
Please make sure you don't book your flights or boats without checking the necessary connections and timings will work!
It may be best to book your inbound and outbound flights separately as return tickets aren't always the cheapest option. So for example you may fly into Mykonos and out of Athens.
The flight time from Athens to Paros is 25 minutes. Aegean Airways is the only flight company that flies to the island.
From Athens you can either use the port of Piraeus or Rafina. There is a bus from the airport to both ports that takes about 1hr and is approx 3euros. Alternatively you can get a taxi which would take about 45mins and cost approx 40euros.
If you do arrive and depart from the same place then buying return ferry tickets is cheaper then buying 2 singles.
Bluestar Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, Sea Jets and NEL Ferries are the ferry companies that go from Athens/Mykonos to Paros.
The ferry time from Athens to Paros is 3-4.5 hrs depending on what speed of ferry you get.
The ferry time from Mykonos to Paros is just 25 minutes.
